                  ********IRC ports*********

  6667: used for standard connections

  2050: Used for people connecting through proxys or other
  firewalled connections. In which a standered connection to
  port 6667 would be rejected.

  7000: SSL port (Secure Socket Layer) this port will not
  allow standard connections. DO NOT USE this unless you know how!
  X-chat supports SSL. You can get a SSL enabler for mIRC at 
  http://www.bovine.net/~jlawson/coding/stuntour/
  read the readme.html for help with installing stuntour.
  All you realy need to do is copy stuntour.dll to your mIRC
  directory and add "on *:START: { /dll stuntour.dll load_stunnel }"
  to your remote. For any other IRC client that doesn’t support
  SSL you can use stunnel http://www.stunnel.org/
