Inspired by a request from Bthunder, I offer a DNS service '<your-custom-name>.winbolo.us, <your-custom-name>.linbolo.com, or <your-custom-name>.linbolo.net' anyone interested in having a DNS redirect to a web site, point to a service such as game hosting, or point to anything related to winbolo/linbolo. If you're interested in the service you can use the contact form with the category 'DNS' to request this service.

 

You will need to supply the following information in the form:

  • Your player nickname
  • A correct and current email
  • The sub DNS you want (in place of "<your-custom-name>")
  • A site you want the DNS to redirect to, or the IP address you whish the DNS to resolve to (CNAMEs accepted).
  • A little information about the site/service.

    I stress the importance of a current email where you can be contacted and is check often!
    A email will be sent to the supplied address and a reply is required before the DNS is setup.

    I have offered this before on the WBN forums here. I hope with more publication about this service, people will be inspired to create websites and other services to further help the community grow.
